Are you bemoaning a grease stain on your husband's shirt or tie? For goodness' sake, tell him not to touch it, otherwise it will become unsalvageable. Lay the article out on your ironing board and sprinkle baby powder over the stain to cover it. In a few minutes the powder will soak up the stain. Shake it off. Then place a sheet of white silk tissue paper, folded in half, on top and iron gently with a not-too-hot iron. The tissue paper will serve as a second blotter. You should be able to breathe a sigh of relief and spare yourself a dry cleaning bill!
